Tinos is a Greek island situated in the Aegean Sea. It is located in the Cyclades archipelago. In antiquity. The closest islands are Andros, Delos, and Mykonos. Yacht charter.

Tinos is famous amongst Greeks for the Church of Panagia Evangelistria, its 80 or so windmills,about 1000 artistic dovecotes, 50 active villages and its Venetian fortifications. On Tinos, both Greek Orthodox and Roman Catholic populations co-exist.

The island is located near the geographical centre of the Cyclades island complex, and because of the Panagia Evangelistria church, with its reputedly miraculous icon of Virgin Mary that it holds. This is perhaps the most notable and still active yearly pilgrimage in the region of the eastern Mediterranean. The closest airports are located at the islands of Syros and Mykonos, with which Tinos is connected by boat on a daily basis.Yacht charter.  Tinos is connected by boat with the ports of Piraeus and Rafina, both ports easily accessible by travellers arriving from abroad to airport, Athens. It is also connected directly to the islands of Andros, Syros and Mykonos, and to almost all Cycladic islands with stops in-between. The  trip lasts from 1 hour and 45 minutes (with a high-speed from Rafina) to 4 hours and 40 minutes (with a regular boat from Piraeus).Off-shore anchoring in the marina area is not permitted, except for short-term in the case of emergency.
